Consulting Karen
Woods consults with leaders of non-profit organizations as well as
Church and Para-Church organizations. Her consulting includes:
- Coaching members of organization to open lines of communication.
- Strengthening trust among teams and team leaders.
- Building foundational strategies customized for the growth and development of each member of the organization.
Mrs. Woods has been used to consult
on the development of unwed mother's homes; She served on the Board of
Directors for the John Henry House for Girls in Hamilton, Ohio.
She also provided consulting/ training for Mercy Ministries, a therapeutic group home in Nashville, TN.
Karen has also been used to consult with Ministerial leaders
and Department Heads at local churches in Ohio, Tennessee, California,
and Florida.
Her versatility and experience allows her to customize solutions to meet an organization's specific needs.
Karen's Professional and Ministerial work experience include:
- Former Licensed Psychiatric Social Work – Pauline Warfield Lewis Center
- Family Outreach Program – crisis counseling for troubled families
- New Beginnings therapeutic group home for sexually abused teen girls – Provided individual and group counseling
- Former Field instructor – provided supervision for social work interns for University of Cincinnati School of Social Work.
- Former
Pastoral Staff at Courts of Praise Cincinnati, Ohio – Founded and
develop a program for caring assistance for families and individuals in
crisis.
