Minister Sylvester Woods Jr. is a Licensed and Ordained Minister of the Gospel. In 1991 Sylvester founded Here Ye the Word of the Lord, a powerful and dynamic life changing Prison Ministry. As a former Heroin Addict who served time in Prison, Sylvester Woods has experienced first hand the depths and hardships of addiction and a life without God. Sylvester has served in ministry for 14 years. His God given mandate is to minister to people in hopeless situations. Through the preaching of God’s Word in the Here Ye the Word of the Lord prison ministry, there have been personal testimonies of physical healing and deliverance from mental oppression. Sylvester’s preaching gift will literally challenge every person to take inventory of their lives, coming to the profound conclusion that they must make Jesus their Lord and Savior. Many people have been enriched through foundational truths to combat life’s problems with steps towards wholeness. Karen Woods completed her college education with a B.S in Social Work and A.A in Criminal Justice in 1983.

Karen, an ordained and licensed minister of the Gospel, has served in her ministry gift as a Teacher and Prophetic minister in the body of Christ for 22 years.

Minister Karen Woods travels nationally and internationally as a Teacher, Psalmist Consultant/Trainer, and Conference Speaker for Heart of the Matter Ministries International.

Karen is a Certified Teacher of Guiding Small Groups and a Certified Facilitator for Listening for Heaven’s Sake and Speaking the Truth in Love with Equipping Ministries International, a Cincinnati based Christian organization that provides Life Seminars around the nation and abroad.

Karen is also a State Certified Regional Foster Care Trainer for foster and adaptive parents for Southwest Ohio.

She is a Television talk show host on a local Christian cable show called “Praise”. This television outreach ministry impacts the heart of the viewers with anointed ministry and music.

She is also committed to her church, Princeton Pike Church of God (Hamilton, Ohio) where she serves in teaching/facilitating an adult emotional healing/growth development support group as well as leading Praise and Worship for Princeton Pike’s Inner City church outreach bus ministry, Power Source.

Karen is partially blind in both eyes however her inner strength and faith in God empowers her to press towards the mark of her high calling.
